Congratulations to Mr. Woodard and Autumn! They were presented with Awards from the Michigan League of Academic Games! Mr. Woodard received the John Dalida Award and Autumn received the Fred Schippert Award!

It is day 2 of the Academic Games Super Tournament in Grand Rapids. Our CCJH Academic Games Team continues to be hard at work! Both teams are in a great place to make the finals this afternoon for Equations, On-words, and maybe On-sets. Let's go CC! We are so proud of you!

Good morning. Due to the snowfall and icy back roads Columbia School District will be closed today, Friday, March 10th. Childcare will be open.

Due to the prediction of inclement weather, Columbia School District will attend classes for a half day tomorrow, Friday, March 3. High school students will be dismissed at 11 am. Elementary students will be dismissed at 11:20 am.

Homecoming Updates, Events Rescheduled- All homecoming activities, including the basketball game, have been canceled for this evening. We are working on rescheduling homecoming week. At this time, the following details have been confirmed for next week: -We will host spirit week and dress up days beginning on Monday, February 27th. Monday-Monsters University, College Sweatshirts Tuesday- Star Wars Wednesday-Marvel Day Thursday-Bedtime Stories Friday-Blue and Gold Day -The winners of the hallway decorating contest will be announced. -Thursday, March 2nd, at the boys, basketball game, the homecoming court will be presented. -We will host the Class of 2023 Breakfast on Friday morning, March 3rd, from 8 to 8:30 AM. -Kona Ice will be available at all lunches on Friday, March 3rd. -Pep assemblies for both junior high and high school will be held on Friday, March 3rd. The homecoming court will be announced at the high school assembly as well. -The high school homecoming dance, Cinderella Ball, will be held on Saturday, March 4th, from 8 to 11 PM. All guest dance forms must be turned into the office by Thursday morning at 8 AM. Please take care and stay safe. We look forward to returning to school and celebrating homecoming week with you! Due to the icy conditions and inclement weather, all practices and evening activities are canceled.

Please review our winter homecoming updates- The Iron Man Volleyball game has been canceled for this evening. This event will be rescheduled. Stay tuned for more information. CCJH and CCHS Dress up day on Thursday-Student choice of Bedtime Stories OR Marvel Day..(No masks or weapons, please). Friday is Blue and Gold Day! Homecoming King and Queen Voting for high school students will begin on Thursday! The court and King and Queen will be announced at the game on Friday. Students planning to bring a guest to the dance on Friday must have the permission form turned in to the office by the end of the school day on Thursday. The Senior Breakfast will be held on Friday morning from 8-8:30 AM. We will excuse any 12th-grade Career Center students to arrive a bit late and will be sending a bus at 8:35 AM for these students. Kona Ice will be available at lunch on Friday for all 7th-12th grade students! Pep assemblies will take place on Friday for both CCJH and CCHS! High school only-Taco dinner on Friday at 6 PM and the Cinderella Ball from 8-11 PM. The cost is $10. All students and community members are invited to fill the gym with Golden Eagle Pride for the home basketball game Friday evening! Good morning, Due to the inclement weather and forecast of icy conditions Columbia School District will be closed today, Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Childcare will be closed.

We are starting to experience food and beverage deliveries such as Door Dash coming to the school throughout the day.  Unfortunately, due to security reasons, students are not permitted to use such services during school hours.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Congratulations to our CCJH Academic Games Team for earning the top score average for the 5th competition in a row!! Please support them in a Hat Day fundraiser. Students may wear a hat to school on Wednesday for $1. All proceeds to their participation in the state competition.

Bottle Drive to Support the Academic Games Team- We want your returnable bottles and cans!! The Academic Games Team is holding a collection through Saturday, January 28th as a fundraiser. Drop off bottles and cans at Mr. Woodard’s room OR on Friday from 3-4 in the front circle OR on Saturday from 10-1 at Brooklyn Presbyterian Church Parking Lot. Thank you for your support!
