Bella is moving up! Won her first match today! 7-2. She is now in the top 6! 🦅💙💛
Alexis Henry, along with 59 other high school girls from our division started bowling Saturday morning at 8:30am after only a 30 minute delay caused by the winter storm. She started the 6 game block with a first game of 164. Games that followed were 154, 124, 153, 158 & 133. She ended her first States Tournament in 52nd place, but with the experience needed to come back next season strong. Alexis is Columbia Central High School’s first Freshman girl to have reached the State Tournament level in the schools bowling history. There were only 14 Freshman girls statewide to qualify to bowl today, with her being 1 of only 3 at Jax60, in Jackson.
Congratulations Alexis! You made the entire Golden Eagles Family very proud today as you tackled the tournament stress with a positive attitude and determination of a true champion!!!
With one minute left in the third quarter Columbia Central Varsity Girls basketball leads Sand Creek 39 to 23!💙🦅💛🏀

Wishing every one of our bowlers could be joining her, but knowing we all gave this season our best! We are very proud of having Alexis Henry move forward into the next tournament representing all of us! No weather delays will stop this rising Golden Eagle!! 💙🦅💛🎳
