2022 Columbia Youth Basketball
Columbia Youth Basketball Boys and Girls (K-6th grade) Instructional League Boys and girls in grades K-6 will learn fundamental basketball skills while having fun and competing against other players. Students interested in joining this new league must complete the attached registration form and return it to their school office by October 7th, 2022. Instructional sessions and games will start the week of October 29th, 2022, and end on November 19th, 2022. The season will run 4 weeks, with all divisions having instructional sessions emphasizing fundamentals and skill development. Sessions will be divided into groups based on skill level and abilities with the intent to develop the player’s abilities and to learn proper techniques at their own pace. Teams will be picked each Saturday for 3 on 3, 4 on 4, or 5 on 5 games. Practices will be during the week, and games will take place on Saturdays.
Final schedules for instructional sessions and games for all ages will be determined based on the total number of participants, volunteer coaches, referees, and gymnasium times. Final Due date: Friday, October 7th, 2022- NO LATE ENTRIES. Cost: $30 per player or $32 per player if paid through Paypal (Each player will receive a competition jersey)
